I've noticed a lot of questions about translating mxliff files in Trados Studio here and on other forums. I decided to try to tackle the problem myself by creating a file type for processing mxliff files in Trados. You can download a beta release from here to try it out: ... I decided to try to tackle the problem myself by creating a file type for processing mxliff files in Trados. You can download a beta release from here to try it out: https://github.com/jessegood/Leo.FileTypeSupport.MXLIFF/releases/tag/v1.0-beta Any feedback would be appreciated so I can make it more complete. Once I finish testing, I will apply for the SDL AppStore.

I'm currently working with a client that uses Memsource and I'll give it a try. Let me know if you want me to try something. PS: I tried a few files and they seem to be working fine, the client has been able to upload them as well. Good work!

I ran into a small issue today. I loaded a file that had some hits in my TM, and all segments (even empty ones) were marked as "Draft" instead of "Not Translated". So far everything else seems to work | | |

The file type needs to be installed for Studio 2017, then it will work. | | |

It is just not added automatically - there is a yellow warning sign in File Types with a link, so you have to enable it manually. I think that was necessary also in 2015, I forgot about it. | |
