I am a native Korean Freelancer, have an academic background (Degrees: Bachelor of Arts / Magister Artium, Majors: German Literature & Language, Pedagogy, History) and a further Technical Writer Certified Education.

 

In Korea, I worked ca. 2½ years regular at a High School as Teacher of German, then in Germany over 15 years at the Universities as Lecturer of Korean Literature, Language & History, besides also as Interpreter, Translator, Voice Actor, Adviser, Correspondent, Interviewer for many various public institutions and private companies incl. broadcasting systems, newspapers and magazines.

 

My career as linguist started due to the order of the GIZ. Later, I became by the German court generally sworn-in interpreter and authorized translator for the Korean language. I am very specialized in on-site interpreting to opening celebrations, meetings, visits of a facilities and/or institutions. My terminology knowledge has gained so it´s real base, thanks to the meetings with so many excellent experts and active market players.

 

I could offer the interpreting and translation incl. review for the art, science, law, patent, technic etc. with CAT Tool and Office Program almost on every topic or event, if necessary via a cooperation with my colleague in Seoul.

 

My language ability covers Korean, German, English, and elementary also Latin, French, Chinese script etc.
