Hi, I'm Zuzana!

I have been working as a part-time translator/interpreter since 2010 and as a full-time translator/interpreter since 2017. I specialize in audiovisual translation (vast experience in transcription/translation/subtitling of films), European union and social sciences (translations for European Commission and various
NGOs), education and linguistics (translations for educational institutes and of academic papers), and literary translation (translation of short stories).

As an interpreter, I mostly work with Portuguese and specialize in technical area (compressors, molding presses, heavy equipment). I currently teach Audiovisual translation at Comenius University in Bratislava and supervise a team of translators at ‘Hory a Mesto’ Film Festival.
