Bio

Welcome, and thanks for visiting my profile!

I am a sworn translator from Norwegian School of Economics who takes on most types of English to Norwegian assignments for translation and editing. I try to be a versatile translator and all round linguist, but some of my areas of expertise are medical, business, advertising, legal, financial, and technical translations.

Do you need a high quality translation of a medium or large text delivered within a seemingly impossible deadline? I love those challenges, working as hard as possible for a while under pressure, then relaxing. Steady stream of smaller assignments or smaller one off assignments? Kindly choose someone else. :-)

My best assets as a linguist are language understanding, team working skills and accountability, (burst) capacity, and a can do-attitude. I also use great hardware to lessen the strain of working, and deliver a better product.

Degrees, appointments, and certifications:

2023: Board member, Association of Government Authorized Translators in Norway (STF)
2012: Sworn translator from Norwegian School of Economics
2009: Certified PRO translator at Proz.com
2007: CPE from Cambridge University
2002-2005: Bachelor of Arts with English minor and sociology major at University of Oslo
