I will usually spend a bit more time on looking at the newspaper or social media, and concentrate on things other than translation, perhaps trying to catch up on some admin or household chores. I always try to have a few days free after working on a long assignment (it happens quite frequently) and then my routine changes completely: I generally wake up later than usual and the rest of the morning I find myself just wandering around, watching the news, reading a newspaper or a magazine.
