In 1999 Grant Straker founded a software company specialising in multi-lingual content management for websites, it then morphed in 2010 into Straker Translations, a global translation agency with offices in the USA, Canada, Europe, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand building a global client base that includes: Sun Life Financial, Glaxo Smith Kline, Caterpillar, Creative, Exxon Mobile, Fuji Xerox, Mailchimp and BP.
We are the only translation agency with the ability to offer translation by the hour as apposed to the traditional per word (expensive) model used by the rest of the translation industry. This makes our rates the best available without compromising on translation quality. As developers of this unique business model we were invited to present “Translations by the hour” at TAUS Executive Forum in June 2011 and we are returning to present at TAUS Executive Forums in both Japan and Beijing in 2012.
