国内经济飞速发展, 希望是人的道德和精神面貌同样有了大幅度的改善提高.
我是很难想象出人的思想和普遍社会风气究竟如何. 可以说这个论坛给我提供了一个很好的 window on the world. 
同时也希望文革那样的政治运动一去不复返, 不过我总觉得有的社会问题仍是三十年前的继续. 也许是我的 skepticism 太大.

天下的道理都是共通。国内的“主旋律”都没若干年前那么利害，不过大家要在体制范围里……心领神会。

你说得对。很难想象上个世纪60、70年代的人将怎样面对现在的生活，而生活在现在这个经济空间的人们将怎样去做60、70年代的人。任何一方发展停滞都会导致一个扭曲的社会。我不敢说现在的社会就没有问题，它面临的问题还非常多，但至少是在不断发展进步，这也是人心所向的根本原因。

The torch replay was completed reasonably well in Japan and South Korea. It is in North Korean at this moment. Vietnam will be the next.

照我的理解，应该是“这是我们运动员的舞台（而不是其它人的舞台）”。
至于运动员，他们中的有些人一生只能参加一次，因为非体育的因素来不了，那应该是很残酷的事。
给观众留下的是无尽的遗憾。
当年的体操王子，稚气未脱，现在反倒有成熟男人的风度了。不过，衡量是否有风度的标准在你们女士手中:wink:

I think Jackie Chan was intended to protect Jinjin just in case, but he was in a wrong place at a wrong time. 看来Jackie Chan 也是个事后诸葛亮！

在聖火到達香港的時候, 有關部門組織了很多香港的小朋友, 學習大陸的做法, 整齊地排好隊, 在一旁用廣東"普通話"整齊地大喊著"歡迎,歡迎,熱烈歡迎", 舞動著旗幟, 而有關領導就從中間緩步通過, 頻頻向可愛的小朋友們揮手致意.
