Hallo zusammen,

sorry, wenn es eine dumme Frage ist, aber hat man als freiberufliche Übersetzerin in Deutschland etwas was man in GB ein Registered Company Number nennen würde? Ich stehe gerade auf dem Schlauch...

Steuernummer und USt-Id-Nr. Mar 10, 2021

Hallo Sarah,
ich habe eine Steuernummer (für die Kunden in Deutschland) und eine USt-Id-Nr. (für die EU- und sonstige Kunden, die nicht in Deutschland ansässig sind).
Registered Company Number wäre wohl Firmen(buch)nummer.
Hoffentlich habe ich Deine Frage beantwortet.

Hallo Ivana,

danke für deine Antwort. Ich habe sie so verstanden, dass ich diese Nummer dann wohl nicht habe, da man als Freiberufler nicht ins Handelsregister eingetragen werden muss. Dann lasse ich das Feld im Onboardingformular gerade leer in der Hoffnung, dass das keine Probleme macht...

nein, hast Du nicht, da Du keine Company bist, sondern freiberuflich tätig bist! Wie schon von Ivana berichtet hast Du eine persönliche Steuernummer (TIN) und evtl. eine USt-Nr. sowie eine USt-ID-Nr. (falls Du umsatzsteuerpflichtig bist).

Falls Du weitere Fragen hast, kannst Du mich gerne per DM kontaktieren. Ich war fast 30 Jahre lang in DE freiberuflich tätig.
