English term or phrase: grass-fed better
For a nutritional meal plan. I gather this butter is made from the milk of animals who are grass-fed, but I need a very direct way to say this (it goes in a table, not a lot of space). Thank you for your suggestions!

beurre de bétail nourri à l'herbe if "butter"

though "grass-fed butter" sounds weird : the butter is nor "fed", the cattle are.

neutral  Tony M: That would surely really imply that they are by nature grass-eaters — but not necessarily that this is actually what they are being fed on, which is the crux of the matter here. Self-evident: but NOT what the source text is talking about!

agree  Tony M: In fact, I think this is 'butter' not 'better', so there's no real 'de préférence' element...

beurre de pâturage

Explanation:
http://www.produits-laitiers.com/article/mangent-les-vaches-...
