drop it off Explanation: The word مربعات in such contexts does not sound Arabic for me at all. I believe that it is a literal translation from another language as the English expression "back to square one" which some people tend to translate as العودة إلى المربع الأول!!! Given your contexts, I do see that you may drop such "squares" off and the meaning will be fine. HTH Best |

personal concerns Explanation: If, as I understand, الجسر here in not literal, then المربعات المؤقتة is abstract too. Apparently the writes is trying to say that every one is in a world of their own and do not want to discuss common issues or concerns. More information on the topic would be favorable. |
