agree  Álvaro Espantaleón Moreno: Solidario doesn't mean "alone or with". It means he can act alone. In Spanish: puede obligar a la empresa frente a terceros por sí solo. That is, he doesn't need the other directors at all. That's precisely the point: to act alone.

neutral  philgoddard: In my opinion, the wrong answer was chosen the last time this question was asked. As Rebecca Jowers pointed out in her excellent contribution, it means "joint and several director".
