takeover /taking over Explanation: As I understand it, this refers to local or community bodies taking over the running of the schools…(local institutions and/or communities \"assuming ownership\" of institutions). Donning the mantle of responsibility, so to speak :-) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 25 mins (2019-01-07 10:40:22 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Taking over doesn't only happen in business speak... Just in case that's the impression you want to avoid. I wouldn't have any qualms about calling a spade a spade here. |
