Jornada Completa escolar
all-day school / full-day school

Explanation:

an X hour school day

Explanation:
We need a bit more context, because according to the Columbian Ministry of Education a full school day depends on the level (primary, secondary, etc.):

JORNADA COMPLETA:

So a 'full day' could be between 5 and 6 hours it seems. In the UK (and probably in the US, but I'm not sure) a normal school day (at secondary level) is from about 8:30 to 15:30. So about 7 hours.
I read that some schools may offer 'all-day school' as a sort of 'day-care programme' from 8 to 6 for children who have parents who work those hours.

My suggestion would be to say the trainee is there for an 'X hour school day' to avoid any confusion between what diffeent cultures interpret by 'jornada completa'. Like Andrea said, in Argentina it depends on if you go for the normal 'jornada simple' or 'jornada doble' with extra classes.

Full-time school hours

Explanation:
If the text is referring to a trainee who is working at the school then it would mean that they are working full time hours.
