-------------------------------------------------- Note added at 44 mins (2019-10-11 00:35:19 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I meant DÉBROUILLARD!!!! so sorry for the typo. An "arnaqueur" is a scammer. A "débrouillard" is a smart individual that will "manage" in any condition under any constraint. A hustler is also _eventually_someone who goes "de petits boulots en petits boulots" from one small job to another. A "galérien" refers to the galley shipshape and is, in contemporary urban slang a person who struggles to get by. Hope it helps |
