con su dedicación

English translation: for its dedication

Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Social Sciences - Education / Pedagogy / Evaluation of a doctoral programme
Spanish term or phrase: con su dedicación
This is from a list of aspects of a doctoral programme that teaching staff are asked to evaluate:

Reconocimiento académico que realiza la Universidad con su dedicación al programa de doctorado (exenciones docentes).

This is ambiguous to me - is it the respondent's commitment to the doctoral programme? Or the University's commitment? Am I being dense? Or do I need to get it clarified by the client?

How do others read it please?
Thanks

English translation:for its dedication
Explanation:
Spanish tends to use possessives (its) a bit more than English. I think you could leave it out.

"Academic acknowledgement accorded/given to the University for (its) dedication to the doctorate programme (teaching exemptions)."
