Ici, la traduction littérale ne sonne pas naturelle en français et appauvri le sens. La forme be + ing renvoyant à quelque chose en train de s'accomplir peut-être rendu par la notion de quotidien. Par ailleurs je pense qu'on peut traduire sans crainte tâche par difficulté en raison du contexte (" c'est parce que je t'avais dans mon ventre que je ne craignais pas les épreuves").
