dakle osnovni su na najnizem nivou pa se uobicajio bukvalni prevod basic court a u biti se obično radi o opcinskom sudu, sudu čija je stvarna i mjesna nadležnost opet definisana zakonom
okruzni obicno ide sa nekom bezbolnom varijantom - county ili kao sto oni imaju circuit court gdje 'sjede' magistrates
