Explanation:
"Прозорец" е определено време (няколко часа), през което трябва да се извършат ремонтни дейности по жп линията. През този промеждутък се спира движението на влаковете в съответния участък.
Само предположение. Не намерих на английски подобен термин, но всъщност значението отговаря на определението преди скобите - "прекъсвания на движението". По тази причина, смятам, че става ясно дори ако се използва само "window", т.е. предполагам, че както на български като се каже "прозорец" работещите в сферата знаят, че това означава "прекъсване на движението", така и на английски след като е пояснено преди скобите, се разбира точно това.

И съжалявам за за късния отговор, но чак сега видях въпроса.
