Catalan to English translations [PRO] Marketing - Advertising / Public Relations

Catalan term or phrase: soporte publicitario This term comes up a lot and I am sometimes unsure of how to translate it. And Kudoz doesn't seem to have a definitive answer yet - so let's give it one! The definition is: "Subcanal de comunicación a través del cual se difunde el mensaje publicitario. Por ejemplo, en el medio televisión los soportes son cada una de las cadenas que emiten: TV1, TV2, Telecinco, Antena 3 TV, Canal Satélite Digital, Vía Digital, Telemadrid, Canal 9, etc." My best stab so far is "channel" but that doesn't really work for, say a newspaper or for outdoor advertising panels... indeed, do we even have one word to define this? Any bright ideas, so we can pin this one down once and for all, please? Thanks
