Empire Explanation: I have often seen this term used to describe the supra-national structures of global capitalism that have emerged in the 21st C. I would lose the "the" before "multinationals" and leave the term in inverted commas, as you've suggested. I'd also change: "in the structural and institutional sense" to simply: "structurally and instituitionally". -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 34 mins (2010-07-25 16:03:52 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Too many "I"s in that last word ;-) |
