3. Formes culturals de la massa: cada una de les resultants d’un tractament silvícola.

- ***Masses complementàries***: masses l’estructura de les quals no correspon amb exactitud a les formes principals, i en què aquestes variacions tenen un objectiu silvícola. Normalment fa referència a masses amb reserva d’arbres pare, masses amb subvol i masses multiestratificades.

I have three different kinds of 'formes culturals de la masa'. I'll ask about the other two in separate questions. I cannot find an English equivalent for this kind of stand.

Any ideas?

BTW, I don't think that the term 'complementary stands' exists in English.
