strengthen Explanation: I guess the author is using this to imply that, like plywood, such a change will strengthen or reinforce the system. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 14 days (2005-09-05 16:45:33 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I wonder how "laminar" got to mean weaken. In carpentry (at least in electric guitar building :-) laminating the neck would strengthen the piece. |
