I don't get "de la cura de persones" in this context. Can anyone shed any light on it. My wife scratched her head too and she's a native speaker!

Thanks to all. I went for "healthcare workers" in the end - covers nurses, ancilliary staff, etc. So Ross' offer was closest to that and he gets the points.
