Still, reading the sentence over as well as other questions you\'ve put up in ProZ these days on the same subject, it seems to me there\'s a lot of bureucratese flotsam & jetsam you have to cut through. And the sentence, as it stands, makes little sense, so you might be safer going Marian\'s route, i.e. providing a more literal rendering. I\'ve worked with the GenCat and Ajuntament de Barcelona too long to have much patience for this kind of junk, and I usually cut away all the chaff - don\'t forget, these guys are paid to have coffee all day and put off any actual work, and they\'re anything but born writers. Usually after consultation with the authors of such texts, my version more closely reflects what they \"meant to say\"... |
