agree  Wenjer Leuschel (X): In German, it would be easier to express this term. They name it Ahnennische, consisting two terms,Ahnen and Nische, where Ahnen means ancesters and Nische just "niche." The English word "temple" doesn't transport the meaning of "niche," but it's ok.
