Chinese term or phrase:
Dear all,

How would you translate this sentence? I am not sure entirely the term 我的刑罚熬炼 - it would be greta if someone could shed some light on this.

Also if possible would love to check if the meaning of 那天国之外 here is to be outside the Kingdom of Heaven.

Thanks for your input on this, it is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Explanation:
My punishment and torment do not follow these people. They are beggars roaming the streets beyond the kingdom of heaven, aren't they?

The following is what I found before your quote.

I think in this context "我" means the creator of mankind, so 天国 could mean the kingdom of heaven.

Punishment has been translated into 刑罚 in the following example, although it appears in another source, the Bible.

4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. (Submission to Governing Authorities, Romans 13, New International Version)

For your reference only.

That is very helpful, and a very detailed explanation. I came up with a very similar translation - one thing that confused me slightly while doing this job (which i actually completed the day I posted this) is where i would use punishment, the client had actually given me a 3 word glossary one of which they used chastisement instead of punishment - i didn't think it fit as well, but that is what they had asked for. however it was great to read your input, thank you very much, it was really appreciated.
