Croatian term or phrase: gospodarski objekt
I am at odds how to best translate into English the term "gospodarski objekt" in the sentence "...sagraditi i dodatni gospodarski objekt (proizvodnja, spremište, kušaona)..." as part of a property. Perhaps an "outshouse"?

ancillary business facility

Explanation:
you may also play around with words a bit and say manufacturing instead of business if that better fits the context, or complex instead of facility...

neutral  Piotrnikitin: I wouldn't use "facility". Perhaps "premises".

neutral  Vesna Maširević: proizvodnju isl. ne bih svrstavala u nešto što je "ancillary" (ancillary bi bile facilities koje bih pre nazvala auxiliary tj. pomoćni objekti)

neutral  Lirka: ancillary business facility vs. (business) facility: a very deep distinction; worth a separate answer? Dictionary definition of "facility" is a reference? Well...OK. whatever.

-> Sorry about that.. ancillary got all of my attention. U svakom slučaju, ne vidim zbog čega bi smetao precizniji odgovor, sa referencama/Bolje porazmislite o svom odgovoru umesto što me napadate bez potrebe

Utility extension

Explanation:
This is how I would translate the Russian equivalent "Хозяйственный Объект".

An "outhouse" means an outdoor toilet.

Re outhouse: Correct, but the word is so strongly associated with it nowadays (especially in American English) that I definitely wouldn't use it.

I think "ancillary" or "extension" are appropriate if we are talking about premises that are additional to a residential property, which is what I understood i he case here. If the main property is already used as business premises, I would say "extension" unqualified. That it would be used for business purposes is presumed.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Hi Piotrnikitin, thank you for your answer, but I would have to argue that "outhouse" does not solely mean outdoor toilet. Regards, Katarina

neutral  Vesna Maširević: Same applies as to ancillary.. I can't imagine a production room or warehouse fitting into a "utility extension" but maybe it's just me ;) / (proizvodnja, spremište, kušaona) indicate these are not "premises additional to a residential property" ;)
