V každém případě chápu vyplácení "diet" jako relativně dočasné uspořádání. V případě trvalého působení v jiné zemi, je otázkou, co je vůbec zahraniční...

"Subsistence" je asi lepší, lépe řečeno odbornější, ale stejně tam pořád vidím tu dočasnost. Možná to souvisí se zákonnými omezeními nebo zdaněním, ale podle mě zaměstnavatel bude volit jinou formu náhrady odloučení od domova, pokud to je na delší dobu, nebo to prostě bude považovat za změnu země pobytu a žádnou samostatně pojmenovanou částku nebude vyplácet...

Asker: Spíše se jedná o dlouhodobější uspořádání... pravděpodobně půjde "subsitence allowance abroad" apod., nicméně děkuju za navedení na termín "allowance", mozek mi dnes ráno nepracuje.

agree  Elizabeth Spacilova: I don't think subsistence allowance would be right because that also covers travel, accommodation, etc... Aren't "diety" and "stravné" synonyms? (If so I would go for "daily food allowance for international travel" or something like that.
