subcontracting arrangements Explanation: both “subcontracting” and “subcontracting arrangements” are possible, even in a single text (see, for example, http://constructionpronet.com/Content_Free/10152009part4.asp... ) In public procurement, you will find “subcontracting arrangements” juxtaposed with “joint venture”, “consortia”, “partnership”, etc., as a form of relationship e.g. “Please let us know if consortia, partnership or subcontracting arrangements apply to your organisation.” https://www.supply2health.nhs.uk/AQPResourceCentre/Documents... Elsewhere: “The Merlin Standard sets out to ensure that subcontracting arrangements between prime providers and partner organisations are positive and fair.” http://www.ingeus.co.uk/partners/102,working_with_delivery_p... All in all, I’d say that (very loosely) “subcontracting arrangements” express a relationship and “subcontracting” a concept. Here, for example, I’d use “subcontracting”: “technické vedení staveb, smluvní zajištění subdodávek, příprava staveb - inženýrská činnost, rozpočty” http://cz.linkedin.com/pub/malíř-petr/63/1a8/167 but in public procurement, where the contracting authority needs to know about all those who are to deliver the works and how they are related, I might use “subcontracting arrangements” (especially for the title of a section): “Dále nabídka uchazeče v části ‘smluvní zajištění subdodávek’ obsahovala…” http://www.uohs.cz/cs/verejne-zakazky/sbirky-rozhodnuti/deta... |
