připíchnutí insulinu I gather that might mean hanging up an insulin bag i.e. adding insulin to the set (because IMO once the patient has the cannula set in place, you just hang up the bag and lead it into the cannula or its extension)

Záznam by měl obsahovat údaje jako den zavedení, průchodnost, návrat, bolestivost, datum
převazu, jak vypadá místo vpichu, vznik případných komplikací a jejich řešení. Při odstranění
periferní kanyly napsat den vytažení, jak vypadá místo vpichu, jak bylo místo vpichu ošetřeno.
Stejně tak napsat přepich periferní kanyly, napsat důvod a jak bylo místo po předchozí kanyle
ošetřeno.

PROPER SELECTION OF SITE AND ROTATION
Patients need to change the infusion set site every 2-3 days and should always rotate to a new site. Some pump users may need to change the site more often if they notice their blood glucose is less stable over time. The abdominal area is the most common site for set insertions. The abdomen allows for more rapid and consistent insulin absorption than from other sites, especially after exercise.
