English translation: Calcium sulphate

Czech to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical (general) / microbiology
Czech term or phrase: SirVap
Under biochem lab results, on a list without diacritical marks (from Brandýs n/L hospital):

... MS-Drt, OXAL, K.Moc, Valce, Kvasin, Tripel. SirVap, u.vap., Moc.am, Sperm. Tr.vag

I have:
... Microscopic – debris, oxalic acid, uric acid, casts, yeast, tripel -- ???SirVap???, urinary calcium, urine amorph, sperm, trichomonas

No values are listed, only slashes (/).

Any ideas about what "SirVap" might be? I can't find this abbreviation (or anything close) in the Brandýs lab manual.

Standardized infection ratio (SIR) of VAP

Explanation:
VAP = Ventilation Pneumonia.

But I guess, the English term would be the same or SIR/VAP.

However, I am not a doctor, so take it with reserve.

agree  Will Volny: very nice find!

disagree  Sarka Lhotak: SIR is a statistic that compares Healthcare Associated infections between hospitals. It has nothing to do with an individual patient and his/her test results.

Still trying to figure out SIR....looking at various testing methods. I don't find 'Sir' yet.

agree  Petr Martinek: I think it will be that Standardized Infection Ratio. I found it at NCBI site only, but that'd been always enough of help for my USA-born wife before she died of cancer.
