Byly provedeny meta-analýzy, které vycházely z hodnot eGF, která dle převažujících názorů vytlačila vyhodnocení funkce ledvin jen dle sérového kreatininu.

From the context, I'd guess that 'vytlačila' is used in the sense of 'excluded, ruled out', but I'd like to make sure.

Asker: OK, but it sounds a bit informal and colloquial, and it could carry a slightly different meaning: 'overrode', 'superseded'.

Asker: Thanks - I'm working out the logic of this sentence... So they're saying that the assessment of renal function on the basis of serum creatinine alone (the older method) has been replaced/superseded the method based on eGF. Seems to make sense.
