Just as an illustration of the absurdity of it all, I once saw a translation that mentioned prof. Ing. Václav Klaus, CSc., and plain old Barack Obama in the same paragraph.

Seriously, though, both BA and Bc. are EQF level 6, so roughly equivalent, but in this case, agreed, best kept as it as it is.

It is another of those titles that can't really be translated as there is no equivalent, same as Mgr., Ing., CSc, Ph.Dr., etc., even MUDr. This has been debated long and hard on several forums, but the general consensus is to either leave them out (but leave Professor or Dr - if a medical doctor - if they insist, but never both) or leave them in the original, as Central Europeans are very sensitive about their titles, and sometimes they cost a considerable amount of money :)
