Danish term or phrase: sulphat salt
"Grupper af 10 fisk blev i 96 timer eksponeret for 0,56, 1,0, 1,8, 3,2, 5,6 mg NN (base + sulphat salt, p.g.a. den lave opløselighed af NN base."

"Sulphat salt" seems obvious in meaning, yet only 7 Google hits for it makes me nervous. What say ye chemists and other practitioners of the dark arts?

English translation:sulphate/sulfate salt
Explanation:
The base and the salt are two different forms of the substance NN which is being tested. (If they had added a different salt, they wouldn't have included this in the mg of NN.) The base isn't very soluble so they add the sulphate salt of NN. Try Googling "free base and * salt".

Explanation:
I am pretty sure this is it, even though I am no fan of the periodic table.

Asker: I was pretty sure it was also, with the proviso noted by Mette. (And it wouldn't be the first misspelling in this document.)

neutral  Mette Krogh: Yes, probably. Especially since "sulphat salt" is not a correct spelling. With a small chance that it's another sulphate salt (i.e not the sodium salt)

Asker: Thanks, this has the ring of well-informed authority to it, backed by a link to references that I can actually understand. :-)
