Danish term or phrase: ubejset
This word occurs on three occasions in the document I have, all in relation to welds:

"Der blev fundet rush i ubejset bundsvejsningerne."
"...med konstateret ubejset svejsninger i bunden..."
"Ubejset svejsninger i bunden af tanke er udbedret..."

I am wondering if this is a consisted spelling error for 'ubejdset' which, in the context of welding, might mean 'unstained' or 'non-primed'.

Any help would be most appreciated!

uncoated
Explanation:
Tempting to use "rustproofed" but that only covers protection against one type of damage. See links for types of coatings. Unsealed would be my second choice.

In the end, I found that it was something a little more specific than 'uncoated', but thanks for pointing me in the right direction. It turns out, that in the context of welding, 'ubejset' means 'unpickled'; a very stange word!

unstained

Explanation:
Bejs is what Americans call stain, as in stained wood vs. painted wood. Ubejset would then unstained.
