Der er IKKE tale om processen hvor man lægger frugten i sukkerlage (candying). Der er tale om den proces som sker naturligt når frugt tørrer og der dannes et (hvidt) sukkerlag på overfladen af frugten fordi sukkeret trækker ud ("sukkerudtræk"). Det opfattes i den vestlige verden generelt som noget der bør undgås, men kunden efterspørger ikke et negativt ord a la "sugar bloom", men et neutralt/positivt.

Asker: Thanks for your effort, Charles, but I found and rejected this text myself - I quote: "Air is their natural enemy; it will rob your raisins of moisture and prompt sugar crystallization on the fruit’s surface." I.e. it's bad.
