Explanation:
All of the other suggestions are correct, in the correct context. But tunnel workers wouldn't be much use on an oil rig, and the same applies to roustabouts in a coal mine. But 'borebisser' can be found in both of these workplaces. Roughnecks is a little too vague in my opinion. Drillers is a general term that would cover 'borebisser', but without being too specific.
This isn't my field of expertise, so my level of confidence is low to medium.
