When the authorities make a mistake Misunderstanding ;-) Application of regulations that do not apply in this specific case OK, that sounds way out... But sometimes it does in fact convey the meaning better if you get a more distant perspective and talk about the specific error (as defined in the context) rather than clinging desperately to the Danish words and syntax, which just do not work in English. That, after all, is the difference between a translator and a machine! With more context, I could be more specific! |
