Dutch term or phrase: uitslagtekening
Same text as for my previous question (inplantingtekening), but fortunately this term is sort of defined within the text: "het opmaken van de nodige constructieve details (uitslagtekeningen)". So what are detailed drawings of specific design/construction elements called in English? All thoughts appreciated!

drawing to scale; geometric scale drawing; scale drawing
Explanation:
This term is now also in the online version of the Groot Woordenboek Industrie & Techniek (GWIT).

There is now also a new 6th entry under 'uitslag' which reads: scale drawing; drawing to scale (context: technische tekening)

def.: 'Een geometrische tekening op ware grootte van (delen van) bepaalde constructies.'

'Scale Drawings

A map cannot be of the same size as the area it represents. So, the measurements are scaled down to make the map of a size that can be conveniently used by users such as motorists, cyclists and bushwalkers. A scale drawing of a building (or bridge) has the same shape as the real building (or bridge) that it represents but a different size.

Builders use scaled drawings to make buildings and bridges.'

Drawing true-to-scale

Explanation:
As stolen by me (*available here) elsewhere on this site

Below also ripped by me elsewhere on this site, so don't thank me

true-to-scale drawing might a full-size drawing if the drawn object is small enough to fit on the drawing sheet, but generally it means that the drawing is an accurately scaled representation of the object.

Sectional drawing true to scale

Werkt u met een architect ? I

uitslagtekening; werktekening
working drawing (UK); épure (drawing)

Explanation:
--------------------------------------------------*

'uitslag = épure

Eng. épure (van het Franse épure)' (http://www.joostdevree.nl/bouwkunde2/uitslag.htm )

‘Dictionnaire Technique Francais Anglais’:

'Epure = Diagram
Epure = Schematic
Epure = Working drawing
Epure de direction = Steering layout
Epure de distribution = Spark advance curve (chart)
Epure de distribution = Timing diagram (can)'

Onroerend Goed Lexicon:

uitslag (voor bijv. trap) = épure
--------------------------------------------------*

‘Epure’
n.1. (Fine Arts) A draught or model from which to build; especially, one of the full size of the work to be done; a detailed drawing.

Termium Plus: 'épure':

• 1. épure (full-scale detailed drawing) = épure (French) [Domain: Architectural Drafting and Tools, Industrial Design]

• 2. working drawing (UK); working plan (UK); hot dimension drawing (US) = (French) [Domain: Industrial Design, Foundry Practice]

def.: Accurate full size drawing of certain aspects or sections of parts whose dimensions are increased so as to take account of contraction, allowances for machining, taper and the size of prints. This drawing is executed on wood or sheet metal and is designed to facilitate the work of the pattern maker.

• 3. working design = épure (French) [Domain: Architectural Drafting and Tools]

'A working drawing is the final ‘constructed’ drawing, produced as part of the design process. It usually consists of a front, side and plan view of the solution. Sometimes there are two views but this depends on the complexity of the solution. Dimensions are added so that any person using the working drawing can manufacture the design. Usually there are at least six dimensions but you can add as many as you feel are required in order for the manufacturer to make your solution.
The working drawing should be precise and drawn to a scale. If the drawing is half the size of the solution then the scale is 1:2. If the drawing is a 3rd the size of the solution then the scale is 1:3.
Use a 2H pencil or a fine black pen for the final outline. This will allow the drawing to stand out. The dimensions are usually quite faint apart from the arrow heads and the measurement.' (http://www.technologystudent.com/designpro/wkingd1.htm )

'Every construction job, regardless of the size and design, must have a set of working drawings. Working drawings are completely dimensioned views accompanied by all necessary notes. Working drawings are supplied to all of the trades involved in that particular job.' (http://webtools.delmarlearning.com/sample_chapters/37532_42_... )

•••••••••••• NOTE: ••••••••••••
Jesus, I only just now thought of looking in my old hard copy Groot Polytechnisch Woordenboek, and what did I find?

uitslag = (werktekening (op ware grootte)) working drawing; plan on full size

This confirms what I arrived at above on my own. Namely, that 'uitslagtekening' and 'werktekening' are synonymous, and that they can both be translated as 'working drawing'. It also confirms what people have said about them being in full scale.

Example sentence(s):
  • A working drawing is Accurate full size drawing of certain aspects or sections of parts whose dimensions are increased so as to take account of contraction, allowances for machining, taper and the size of prints.
  • A working drawing is the final ‘constructed’ drawing, produced as part of the design process.
