hanging basket watering system / hanging basket drippers Explanation: Netafim USA Hanging Basket Drippers all flow precisely the same, regardless of the length of tube (unlike lead weight drippers). This means several lengths of drippers can be combined on the same line, with each dripper emitting precisely the same amount of water. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2002-06-14 06:55:12 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- The project is based at the University of Hawaii Magoon horticultural facility and utilizes a novel basket cultivation system based upon experimentation by Hawaii awa growers. This system allows for the close monitoring of irrigation, fertilizer rates and the amount of sunlight. Its greatest advantage is that it facilitates the sampling of roots. The basket is simply opened, pieces of root excised and then the basket re-sealed. At the end of the project, the importance of light, fertilization and pruning will be established and cultural practices optimized so that kavalactone content can be maximized. http://216.239.39.100/search?q=cache:L4DHE9eN7TkC:www.hawaii... Woodpecker Stake Explanation: I'm not entirely sure of this, but... There are different types of irrigation systems (ref. http://www.benfried.com/productaanbod/druppelsyteem.html) provides a description of them in Dutch with pictures. One particular type is known as the Woodpecker system it has a particular type of stake - which in Dutch is known as the korfsteker. The English webpages refer to this simply as the Woodpecker stake. So you could use either Woodpecker stake or just stake. ref. http://www.alternativegarden.com/site/irrigation/page3.html, shows the system, and if you compare components from both sources you'll see they're identical. :-) Hope this helps! |

basket pin / basket stake Explanation: I took a look at the URL mentioned by medabs. See below: http://www.benfried.com/productaanbod/druppelsyteem.html. After al it seems to me quite likely that the word meant by asker is a kind of “basket pin” or “basket stake” showed to us by medabs , that could have names like : Cobra stekers, Rapier steker, Korfpen, Klemsteker, Prevopen If this would be the case the points should go to medabs of course. |
