Dutch term or phrase: toevlucht
I'm translating a PPT presentation on how to use search engines effectively. One section about the various media available online includes the following:

"Naslagwerken
Aanpassen van artikelen is eenvoudig
Bereik van groot publiek

Presentaties
Veel presentaties over uiteenlopende onderwerpen beschikbaar

Video’s
Video’s nemen toevlucht door digitaal tijdperk"

I'm not at all clear what the "video's" section is trying to say. It's the last item on the slide and it doesn't come up again afterwards.

English translation:(vlucht) expanding, increasing, booming
Explanation:
The term is being used incorrectly in this context. What apparently is meant is 'vlucht', which could be translated here as: expanding, increasing, booming, etc.

skyrocket

Explanation:
toevlucht in video's - videos are skyrocketing
or: increasingly available
Including video results because they are now so widely available

Correct Dutch expression is that 'video's nemen een vlucht' (niet toevlucht')

video sharing has become an immensely popular

Explanation:
Just another option. Because they're talking about video in the digital era, I tend to think that they mean video sharing, and not just video.
