  -> Good catch! Had ik niet eens gemerkt, vond de kersttomaat wel vreemd, maar ja, zo gaat het wel vaker. Google search corrigeerde automatisch 'kersttomaat' en ik maar denken dat Nederland vindt dat die cherry tomaten er als kerstbomen uitzien....

agree  writeaway: with Siobhan. even if it's not in Van Dale it's common knowledge that any bilingual person would know without looking up, ie non-pro. (I like the idea of Christmas tomatoes though). fwiw, kerstomaat IS in Van Dale (of course). Kersttomaat isn't (duh).
