temperature measurement circuit Explanation: WO/1991/005229) TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT CIRCUIT EN) The temperature measurement circuit has a plurality of temperature sensors, each consisting of a temperature-dependent measuring resistor with two power terminals and two voltage tapping terminals arranged between a power terminal and the temperature-dependent measuring resistor. The temperature sensors are connected in series via the power terminals and the series circuit is connected via two conductors to an evaluation circuit which sends a constant current through the series-connected measuring resistors. In order to measure the voltage drops at the individual measuring resistors caused by the constant current, the voltage tapping terminals of each temperature sensor are connected via conductors to the evaluation circuit. Thus the two voltage tapping terminals of two successive temperature sensors in the series circuit, which are allocated to two interconnected power terminals, are connected via a resistor to a shared conductor. This results in a considerable saving in connecting conductors in comparison with a temperature measuring circuit with the same number of temperature sensors, each of which is connected to the evaluation circuit via two power and two voltage conductors.
