Dear all,

Based on the whole document and your suggestions, I can say Margreet's anwere was more near to what I was looking for. Yet, I found it more appropriate to leave the word as is (with a suggestion "Lip seal station"). This answer of mine was also fortified by the suggestion of Ken with his interpretation of the word "kill" as quenching.
Thank you very much for your efforts to assist me with this "new to appear" word.

Upon your request, and probably many of yours, below is the only place where this sentence has appears:

for me unfortunately not very informative, yet I still maintain that this can be something like what Margreet suggested.

In this case, 'kill' may mean (or be English jargon for) 'quench'.

Please provide adequate context *in the original language*; otherwise we are all just guessing.

I suppose I have put wrongly what I thought it is:
twice trimming of the cups should be dosaging of the cups (if necessary in two steps). They will eventually be translated into TR.

I think, in this case this should not be pulled open as these lips in this specific case are being packed.

Hi Binnur, I'm getting the impression these are packages that are sealed with a metal-like cover, like for example the cups with coffee cream you get in simple restaurants. In that case, the 'lip' is the thing you pull them open with.

Hi Binnur, the term Lippenkillstation is neither Dutch nor English, but the additional info suggests you are struggling with the term "lipjes omleggen".
The "twice trimming of the cups" doesn't sound very Dutch (or English, for that matter) either.
