Dutch term or phrase: Lijst Lageweg
I found alist of on the internet while researching my family's roots - this term is at the top, and the column headings are naam, voornamen, geboorte-datum, geboorte-plaats, persoonnummer.
Lori McCotter
English translation:List (of) Lageweg (family)
Explanation:
Lori, it's Dutch actually and not German. 'Lijst' means 'list' and Lageweg, I assume, is your Dutch ancestor's last name. I actually me someone years ago whose name was 'van de Lageweg'. Is that your name as well?

The column headings say: (last) name, first names, date of birth, place of birth, personal number

this is Dutch

Explanation:
Hi Lori,

Or at least I think it is! It's certainly not German. You may want to try asking it in Dutch-English!

Alternatively, just stick around, there's a lot of talented people around who can probably help you out anyway!

Regards

Mary

not German - Dutch

Explanation:
Ljist = list
naam = Name (last name in this case)
voornamen = First name
geboorte-datum = date of birth
geboorte-plaats = place of birth
persoonnummer = person number

I looked up the site, so I conclude that Lageweg is either a location or the last name of a person.

Hope that helps you :-))
