fine needle aspiration biopsy Explanation: My guess would be 'aanprikken' is a short form physicians use among themselves for a 'dunnenaaldpunctie' (cytologische naaldbiopsie, dunneaaldbiopsie). What we know is: A needle is going to be inserted (aanprikken) in this paracaval node under endoscopic ultrasound guidance for diagnostic purposes. This needle will pass the intestinal wall at the specific location they choose under guidance of their ultrasound images and then be inserted in the relevant node under further guidance of their images. Aanprikken via endo-echo paracavale klier naast duodenum. Endoscopic ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration biopsy of paracaval lymph node adjacent to duodenum. See further discussion entries. |
