Caudal slice and two slices Explanation: Are they preparing samples for anatomical pathology analysis? The lamellen are slices that they prepare and then later describe. For example from (although this is about sentinel node procedure, the principle is the same) http://www.nature.com/modpathol/journal/v17/n10/full/3800202...
