torn muscle or tendon Explanation: Not sure about the 'nodulaire' but fasciitis plantaris is inflammation of the fascia (interface between the bones and muscles) on the sole of the foot. The doubt as to the diagnosis indicates that the patient has problems with underlying tissue rather than on the surface. Clearly, 'schuurtje' is misspelt and it should be 'scheurtje'. As it is not a dermal fissure, it is safe to assume that a possible torn muscle or tendon is indicated. I have some confidence here as I used to be a podiatrist. |
