English translation:proprietary name (code)
Explanation:
Based on the refs. already posted here, this seems to refer to the drug's proprietary name (as opposed to the generic name or chemical name):

-> "What adds to the complexity is that every drug has at least three names: a chemical name based on the compound's structure; a generic (or nonproprietary) name that is the drug's official name throughout its lifetime and a trade (or proprietary) name used by the pharmaceutical company for a 17-year period in which it has the exclusive rights to make and sell the drug."

Thank you! In the end I left HPK as is, and added "Dutch pharmeceutical trade name coding system" in parenthesis. I had inquired with the client about it. For some reason it is important to them. Also special thanks to Lianne.

EPC (Electronic Product Code)

Explanation:
EPC helps jumpstart RFID: the pharmaceutical industry's successful Jumpstart Program is proving the usefulness of the Electronic Product Code.(radio frequency identification)
From Food & Drug Packaging, May 1, 2005
To some people, the letters RFID and EPC may seem like indecipherable text messaging. But radio frequency identification (RFID) and the Electronic Product Code (EPC) are making as great an impact on package shipping as instant messaging is with today's youth.

All EPCs use RFID technology. But not all RFID tags house the Electronic Product Code, which is a unique number that identifies a specific object (a package, case or pallet) in motion in the supply chain.

Conceded this may not be identical to HPK but might be the nearest English equivalent, considering that different countries do the same sorts of things that The Netherlands do.
