Tech/Engineering - Metallurgy / Casting / Certificate from ROC Eindhoven
Dutch term or phrase: programmeur/verspaner-cnc
On another similar certificate from Eindhoven ROC, the qualification is 'Progammeur/Verspaner-cnc' which I have translated as 'Programmer/CNC-Operator'. I would welcome any suggestions for improvement.

CNC operator / programmer
Explanation:
This is what I would make of it. Seems fine.

see e.g.:

"We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator/Programmer for our client based in Walsall.

Our client specialise in the manufacture of complete production lines for both the Aerosol and Food Industry. A number of components required to manufacture the machines needed for these production lines are CNC parts generally produced using stainless steel.

Our client has a requirement to employ a CNC Operator/Programmer to handle the production of precision parts using a CNC miller and a CNC lathe.

The individual will need to have at least 3 years experience and be able to work without supervision.

The work is varied and interesting. The role requires you to be able to read drawings and set up the CNC machines accordingly."
